Nominate the 2015 Class of Most Valuable Experts

Each year, Experts Exchange recognizes 12 volunteer experts who consistently demonstrate the core values of our community and go the extra mile through their contributions.

The Most Valuable Expert (MVE) awards consider point earnings a qualifying factor, but at the core of the awards, we focus on the manner in which those points were earned. MVEs represent the elite of the expert community; The subject matter experts who dedicate themselves to improving others understanding and appreciation of their chosen technology, the professional who works tirelessly with an individual hundreds or thousands of miles away to get their problem solved. They are the people who you feel privileged to call your colleagues.

How do you become an MVE?

Step 1: Contribute
Providing quality content and a positive experience for others is what our community looks to recognize and celebrate all year long. Keep this in mind, and you will surely get nominated.

Step 2: Get Nominated
If you’ve consistently shown a positive and nurturing attitude in your interactions, and a high quality in your contributions, then many of the members you have impacted will nominate you enthusiastically. Solicited nominations are grounds for disqualification, so make sure you’re being nominated for your work, not your popularity.

Step 3: MVE Review Panel
The MVE selection board is made up of community members and Experts Exchange staff. We review all nominees and select the 12 most outstanding experts to receive the MVE designation.

Step 4: A Chance for the Spotlight
Once we choose our 12 MVEs, our Community Team will reach out to the winners who then have the option to accept or decline the recognition without any prejudice.

Step 5: Getting the Gold
At the beginning of the new year, we will announce the winners and each MVE will receive his or her award package.

Do you know an expert who embodies the qualities required to be a Most Valuable Expert? Nominations are open until November 27, 2015 and can be done with the form below.
