Updates to EE Mobile

In our last release, we saw an improved mobile experience for our logged-in users, which included both sharing and bookmarking tools, the ability for users to begin monitoring Questions and Articles, and an improved workspace featuring My Topics and Article Activity. This week we released the second major update to the mobile version of Experts Exchange. In addition to a number of bug fixes and updates, there are two very cool new features you’ll want to check out.

Mobile App Drawer

If you visit the mobile site you’ll notice a new UI button to the right of the Experts Exchange logo. Tap the button to open a slick new app drawer and access your personal workspace from anywhere on the site. The app drawer also features a search bar for faster, more flexible search capabilities.

Ask Private Questions

Some technology problems require a bit more discretion: whether it involves sensitive data or company specifics, you might want to limit the number of eyes that see your question. That’s why we recently introduced Private Questions, a new, more discreet way of asking technology questions on Experts Exchange. The latest mobile release includes the premium upgrade option to ask your questions privately.

Our mobile team continues to optimize Experts Exchange for both tablet and smartphone users, so be sure to let us know how we can improve your experience.
