AT&T Announces LG Nitro HD [VIDEO]November 28, 2011 11:22 am ·
This morning, AT&T unveiled its response to Bell’s LG Optimus LTE. Boasting a 4.5-inch display, impressive 1280×720 resolution, and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, the LG Nitro HD is AT&T’s latest LTE-compatible phone. And it’s the company’s first 720p LTE phone.
According to a report from Android Central, the Nitro HD is set to hit stores and be available online on December 4th. The Nitro HD will cost $249.99 with a two-year contract.
“This may take a bit of steam out of LG’s announcement this Thursday night,” notes a report from Engadget.
In a press release, AT&T says the Nitro HD possesses “incredibly quick speed, power, and efficiency in a slim design making it easy to view, create and share in HD.” Moreover, the company hopes that the Nitro’s 8-megapixel camera, 20GB of memory, Wi-Fi Direct technology, and HD gaming features will make it an easy sell.
