Internet security tips, jailed hackers and RIP Google Reader (podcast)

lockitupBlog security isn’t something to be taken lightly, though it is too often overlooked and leaves everyday blogs open to malware which in turn infects the innocent visitors. Governments are working to crack down on hackers who exploit security flaws. Those that are caught face harsh punishment.

Our guest on this week’s podcast is Security Expert and IT Consultant Bev Robb, also known on EE as teksquisite. Bev just joined our team as a blog contributor, and we spoke with her about her first piece about security issues on a WordPress blog. In other tech news, we’re losing one technology and gaining another. One of Google’s well-loved products is being eliminated from their distinguished list of offerings. Meanwhile, Samsung announced that they have a new wearable tech product in development.
