Motorola Droid RAZR Image Leaked, Official Announcement Tomorrow

Tired of being teased by the Motorola reveal page counting down to tomorrow’s big announcement? “Sorry to ruin the surprise,” writes TechCrunch‘s Chris Velazco, but Droid-Life has discovered and leaked a picture of the highly anticipated Motorola DROID RAZR.

Although it “doesn’t reveal anything we didn’t already know,” Velazco continues, it might actually turn out to be thinner than the recently released Apple iPhone 4S. According to other rumors, the new RAZR is said to have a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch display, 1GB of RAM, and even 4G LTE. While that might sound impressive, Velazco remains somewhat skeptical, unsure of whether “the experience runs as smooth as it seems like it should on paper.”

“It’s not the prettiest looking phone,” notes Steve Kovach of Business Insider, “but we’re expecting the specs to be pretty wild.”

Motorola’s Droid RAZR—“or Spyder,” adds Kovach—has been the subject of significant consumer clamor over the past several weeks. And thanks to enthusiast sites such as Droid-Life, an atmosphere similar to the one regularly created by Apple rumor sites like MacRumors and AppleInsider has been generated.

Will Motorola’s latest Droid phone live up to the “Faster. Thinner. Smarter. Stronger.” hype come tomorrow’s announcement? You’ll have to check back with EE Tech News tomorrow for coverage of the event at noon Eastern and see for yourself.
