Experts Exchange Staff Volunteers with Habitat for Humanity

Last Friday staff members from Experts Exchange got out from behind their desks and computer screens to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that addresses issues in poverty housing. Since 1976 the group has built over 500,000 homes for low-income and impoverished families all over the world.

Fifteen EE staff members donned hard hats and wielded hammers to help build framing for three houses already sold to needy families in San Luis Obispo. They worked alongside members of the families who were also there to participate in the build. Each family is required to put time in to the construction of their future homes. The projected move-in will be sometime in October if the current plan goes as scheduled.

EE Staff will rejoin the building efforts on their next volunteer day in mid-July. Click here to see all the photos from our build day!
